GTM Map is a diagnostic tool that helps founders and operators identify gaps in their go-to-market strategy.
What we collect
- Email address (if you choose to save results)
- First name (optional)
- Your assessment answers and scores
- Basic analytics (page views, not personally identifiable)
How we use it
- To save your results so you can return to them
- To send you your results summary (one email, when you request it)
- To send a magic link for sign-in
What we don’t do
- Sell or share your data with third parties
- Send marketing emails unless you opt in
- Track you across other websites
Anonymous aggregate use
Industry benchmarks let founders and operators calibrate against real data instead of guessing. To make that possible, we publish anonymized averages from saved assessments (for example, “how pre-revenue B2B teams typically score on Pricing”). No individual answers are identifiable, and each cell requires at least 10 assessments before any average is shown.
When you save your results, the box that says “Contribute my anonymized scores so others can calibrate” is checked by default. Uncheck it to keep your data out. To opt out retroactively, email hello@shawnyeager.com.
We never use your individual scores in personalized cohort feedback (such as “you’re in the top 25%”) without an explicit opt-in checkbox at the moment that feature is offered.
Where it’s stored
Your data is stored securely on Neon (database) and processed by Resend (email delivery). Both services are US-based.
Your rights
Email hello@shawnyeager.com to request your data or ask for deletion.
